marinate it in some olive oil or melted butter, salt & pepper. Throw it on the grill above some fat steaks. Stuff is legit tasty with smoke flavor and a hunk of meat next to it.

We've done that a few times! It is delicious... As long as you get the right kale... Some of the strains are down right bitter like dinosaur kale.... We prepare whole okra and asparagus the same way. Did some okra that way Monday! I get called a food snob regularly at work.

For those of you that hoard parts... Southern Auto Salvage in Ellenwood claims to have a few 1st gens in the yard. I can't say what they have on them, as I haven't seen them myself.

This is the best deal I have found. Thank you, @Daria.

I'll be living in GA one weekend per month til next summer. Camping life.

Also renting a cabin for Christmas near Blue Ridge, four day residency.

Bring me the bacon. All of it.

Welcome! you caught us a decent moment, this thread actually has life. I'm usually in the TN B.S thread or the CO B.S thread :anonymous:

We do have some decent camping when it's not blistering hot out

I was thinking about doing a weekend camp out with my 5yo at Vogel this Fall, but $27 is mighty steep to sleep on pea gravel. And to think that rate is subsidized by the state no less. We rented a paddle boat two summers ago for a 20 minute ride and it cost us $9 per person x3 people. I can go over to Mt. Cheaha in Alabama, get a powered hookup and an incredible view in both directions for $15 a night, plus a great breakfast buffet and free meals for kids.

I'm currently in Charlotte with work but live in ATL! Next weekend I'm hiking Jack River Falls loop which is amazing camping but you're leaving your Taco at the trailhead!

Yeah with my Roof Top Tent I prefer to just truck camp now

It's bad! But Late-September it gets better and October is great so we'll be planning a bunch of camping/wheeling trips

What route are you taking? They're doing some work to the road on the Ellijay side and on the cohutta side. Road is closed at jacks river campground in the cohuttas, and someone told me the Ellijay side was close a week or so ago.
