    ive got the Yakima ones and they do just fine. are you talking about the slots that the racks go into or the racks themselves?

    a simple pulley on the ceiling and a boat winch seems like a solid choice. shouldn't be too difficult to set up either.

    that's what im afraid of doing too.
    I think it just gets transferred to the bed rails and ends up pushing the bed rails out at the tailgate since theres no support holding the tops of the rails together like at the front of the bed.
