Probably going to go with the icon remote reservoir extended travel coilovers (700# coils if they offer it) for the front and the matching struts for the rear. I can't decide if I want to get the matching icon AAL or get a full leaf pack. Total chaos uca if I can't fab one up at the shop - going to have a hard time finding someone to mold bushings for me in low quantities so it might not be worth the investment.
I have a spreadsheet for the truck calculating how much it's all going to cost and when i will be ordering stuff...its not going to be nice on my wallet....

On a more important note - I'm so hungover/still drunk right now that I put my boot on one foot and sneaker on the other and walked out of the room before I realized... Off to work....

I really liked the icon AAL but I'm sure a full pack will be better. Are doing the shackle flip and axle flip also?

Could you just use the Total Chaos bushings with your custom UCA? Or even the LR bushings?

Full pack in the back. AAL are stupid .
I had the extended icons, best front setup I had out of all of them lol.
If you go with total chaos upgrade to the stainless steel uniballs because the stock ones will rust and fall apart and you will be replacing them anyways.

Go with the full leaf pack, and do it once. I have the Icon AAL, and I am currently looking to replace with a full pack, and longer shocks. I got a good deal on the kit I have, but wish I had done it differently now. I don't dislike the Icon AAL, it rides really nice, but I want more lift/travel.

Hm - I didn't think about that, I could go that route especially since they're easily sourced. Good call!

As for the axle flip, not sure what that is, is it the U-Bolt flip? (I'm still learning - I'll look into it now). I'm not sure about the shackle flip, doesn't that jack up the rear even higher?

Stainless steel ftw... I daily the car in the winter so it's definitely a must.

Anyone here have old OEM UCA's for a 2nd gen? Just need them for prototyping purposes so if the bushings are shot its fine.

I meant a spring under axle setup. You can get more travel out of it and it supposedly helps reduce axle wrap.

Already got my Kellsport kit delivered today. Now I need to carve out some time to get under there and spray everything.

    Overnight parts from Japan, son!

Kellsport is in MA so it just shipped fast. I got the 360 degree wand attachment so I can easily do the box sections. Should be much quicker and less gross than years past. The smell makes me gag the whole time I apply it.

Yeah I had the total chaos arms on my truck for about a year before I had to replace the uniballs. You have to keep them clean and lubed. It's kind of a pain in the ass to be honest with you. You may want to look into a sealed ball joint.

I've got a stock suspension (UCAs, front coilovers, rear shocks, leafs with ubolts) and I really just need them out of my garage. So, FREE to the first person who wants to pick it up.

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...d-suspension-and-wheels.436187/#post-12936121

Ive got some fender flares I'd really like gone from my garage, I'd like $50 but I'm also up for anything useful that you might not want any more. (Fishing poles, tools/toolboxes, I think you get he picture) I'd love for them to be gone also.

Morning, faces. GF's cousin is up from North Carolina on a 'vacation' of sorts while she job hunts and is staying with us. Keeping up with a 22 year old makes me realize that I'm in my thirties now, lol.
Of course, it doesn't help that after we all stay up until midnight drinking and having a good time that I have to then get up at 5:30 for work and she can sleep in until 9 or 10, lol.
