We were talking about rally racing, I have these 3 subaru's that's been sitting here at my work for well over a year now.

 

And this 93 Lightening has been sitting here for 2 years.

 

Any of them run? You're such a vehicle hoarder!

 

Well shit, shoulda said something earlier, I woulda said fuck the focus and would have came and picked one of them up

 

2 of the Suby's have a headgasket issue but they run. The Lightening runs but has 244k miles, a dented door and a rusted brake line. And they all have dead batteries from sitting. I'm not hoarding these, they don't belong to me. They just been sitting at my work. My brother wants me to contact the owner of the p/u and see if he wants to sell it.

 

Yup. I called and it was gone.

 

The amount of time to fab up all our stuff is crazy. Let's just say I won't be retiring anytime soon. Bumpers are an even longer fab time, then A TON of clean up work.

 

Yup. Just be glad it's not flux core lol, grinder time for days.

They sell fast even with a rusted frame. I bought this 01 4runner limited from a customer at my work with a rusted frame, 189k miles, ran rough with multiple misfire codes for a grand. I took multiple good pics of the rusted frame and a honest descripition and listed it on eBay the next day with a Buy-It-Now of $2200, it sold in just 7 minutes. I couldn't believe how fast it sold! 2 Russian guys from N.Y. came down and got it for export.

 

Our sliders have no clean up at all because I'm an artist with a MIG welder and it still takes 4 hours per set to cut all steel, cope tubing, bend hoops, then weld. And that is with us sub-contracting all the CNC laser cut and formed pieces. Add another 30 minutes to build a pallet, box up hardware and then strap it all down.

 

As you can see it had the rear diff lock and i planned to switch out the diffs but the diff housing was too rusted.

 

Bet they paid in cash too

I need someone to do all the prep work so I can sit at the weld table and just weld. The longest part of our slider fab is everything but the welding. I can weld a set in 45 minutes if everything is done and just waiting.

You need someone for quality control. My sliders didn't fit you guys had to modify. My skids I got from you guys didn't come with the required parts. I can't get the transfer case skid on... You guys suck
