    Anyone know a bit about the newage DS systems that play the current Pokemon games?

    Like I assume most of you here, I only care about the OG 151 Pokemon and MAYBE the next set which came from Gold/Silver on the Gameboy.

    My kid has a DS and is now into Pokemon and wants me to play with her, I saw that they are releasing the Yellow/Blue/Red versions again but havent read up much on it.

    End Game is: I want to be able to play Pokemon with my daughter, trade her Pokemon (so she can wreck her cousins shit with my Pokemon), but only care about the OG ones. Is that even possible?
