Does it matter if I use 150 or 200? Battery is still under the hood but on the passenger side

I took mine to where if the wire hits the frame my battery won't blow up.

Yes. I was able to make a conversion for the stock steering arm/lbj mount that runs a 3/4 bolt through the uniball.

And no, there's no reason to keep that zerk in there. 2, 3/16ths weld washers. 1 welded to the bottom and one welded to the inside of the steering arm keeps the bolt centered and square.

I don't think I have any pictures of it, but I just cut off the lower ball joint mount, welded in the new uniball cup and then plated it to the lower control arm.

You guys know a typical quote for rear long travel setup? 2nd gen dclb with DMZ sua and fox bumps and triples. I can obviously look up the DMZ kit and all the shocks, but I really need a quote on rear frame plating and a low profile bed cage to be done plus install of everything (obviously). Trying to gauge how much to save up

Well, the last few that I built were in the 5-6k range. Then again I don't have a big shop with lots of overhead and lots of employees to pay. I figure you can add 50% to that which would get you close to most reputable shops. The question is, being in North Carolina are you able to find a shop that's familiar with the type of work that you're looking for? I'm sure you could find a shop to build you a big donkey mud buggy just a stone's throw in any direction, butt I would do my research on whatever shop you look into first to see if they are capable and knowledgeable in getting done what you need.
