Notre Dame hasn't done too bad considering they are not even in the top 10 in Pre-NFL players.

Pumped for Oklahoma & Ohio State this weekend even if its one sided.

Team has talent and potential. Not sure how I feel about big game bob and his bro.

i LOVE georgia, but i love the sec as well, its always good to beat up on our younger siblings

 

ESPN has been telling them for so long now that they are a family.........they actually believe it. You know....... repetition deepens the impression. It's kinda funny and sad at the same time.....

 

Ohio State has looked really good but haven't played a really good team yet. It will be interesting to see how the younger Ohio state players deal with a big time venue on the road.

 

You have to admit, though... 3/5 in one list and 4/5 in the other is pretty impressive. Lots of talent around the league.

But I don't have to say "SEC! SEC!"... I can just say Roll Tide!

And if anything it's paying our respects to the most powerful logo around, the SEC logo. I don't care what team you are, you have a better shot of success ($$$) in the SEC. That's what pays my bills

While I will agree with other fans of other conferences that the SEC has been trending down, and this year is no exception, you have to admit, for a time there it was damn near a sure thing that the national champion was coming from the SEC. What made it even more dominant, was that you couldn't tell if it was going to be a team from the east or west division, and it was possible that there were two teams from each division totally 4 that had real potential to be the national champion. Proof that the SEC is trending down? There is only 1 team that has concrete national champion potential in the SEC right now, early in the season. Talent dispersion, coaching intensity let downs, new coaches rebuilding, talent leaving early and good coaches getting good talent in other conferences are starting to get traction. But lets be honest. No conference has more than one obvious national champion contender except for the ACC right now.

ACC: FSU/Clemson
Big12: um.....well............uh.....

 

I would love to trade Mizzou for FSU, or Clemson. I'd trade aTm too.

 

As much as it pains me to say it... UW is also a title contender. I hate the huskies with a passion... But they look good so far.
