It is. Those are pretty common in Gulf States Toyotas. Source: I used to work at a Toyota dealership.

If you insert the key and turn it to start, then back to lock and hit that button three times quickly, that's what toggles the horn report on/off when you lock the truck. So if you want the horn to beep once when locked, do this. It will beep twice when unlocked also.

Thanks, 327! I wonder if I could download some documentation/instruction manual on that somewhere?

It's valet mode. Most alarms use the same method.
    1. Enter the vehicle and turn the ignition key to the on position.
    2. Press and hold the valet pushbutton switch. The system will remain in the valet mode.
    3. To return to normal operation make sure the ignition is in the on position, press and release the pushbutton switch or turn the valet switch to the on position.

Well, it's not a base model; it has plenty of bells and whistles. However, when I was doing research on NADA, cars.com, etc., they all seemed to call the 4x4 by the nomenclature "Base" as opposed to the 2WD as PreRunner.

I called Gulf States Toyota, and they sent me a .pdf file of the instructions. If I can figure out how to attach it, I will upload it.

well correct, they are all listed as base, But if the dealer you bought it from sold it to you as a true base / sr5 model, you got a steal. cus TRD OR is like a 3k option.

They did charge for the TRD, but they didn't know it had a navigation system and enhanced security.
