the only post i questioned was the one above, to quote once again "those are AT's with no tread" was the only point i was correcting, i did not question your knowledge on whether or not they would rub, or trying to insult your intelligence, i apologize if it came across as an insult @Aussiek2000

I made the AT reference thinking it said "TERRA grappler". I've run 5 trucks with them, so I know the characteristics.

because you have a 2wd. MT's are just douchey if you don't have the ability to use them.

Then I guess I'll be douchey. I do have a 2wd, but I have the TRD off road model, so I might be able to do some off roading because I have the wheel lockers, just not as much as a 4wd will do.

I've cut a ton off my mounts and still rub when backing up. Going to cut some more off one of these day. Without trimming, I'd probably be about to steer half way, at most.

    all tore up already
I would absolutely use thread locker on cheap spacers. My friend bought the cheapest possible after i begged him not to and i installed them a month ago for him on his car. They havent failed but they felt like shit quality if youve ever handled other spacers, studs or lug nuts. The threads on the nuts and studs just wasnt made to tight tolerances and made me uncomfortable. So i felt it was necessary.

Yes. 265/75-16 would be just the ticket. 1" bigger and no rub. Would provide 1/2" of lift

1" bigger tire will only be 1/2" bigger on the radius. You can go to a 33". But you'll need to do some trimming especially with only 2" of lift and stock wheels

Rear is stock. Front is leveled 3/4". This is when I was on 265/75-16

The "look" can change from tire brand to tire brand. I took off 265/75/16 Yokohama Geolanders and put on 265/75/16 Goodyear Duratracs. The Duratracs looked MUCH bigger. They do have a bit wider tread, but minimal....The difference is in the look of the sidewall.. The "sidebiter" sidewalls that are now so popular with many tires give a much bigger look. Also, spacers or rims with more offset put the tire out where it can be seen....giving the appearance of a bigger look
