Yes you're probably right. You can get hub centric rings that fill the gap left between the hub and the wheel like I did. They're easy to find on Amazon and run around $10.

@vrod671 is running Tahoe rims if I recall correctly. (a sweet junkyard find?)

I believe Toyota's are larger as well.

Yes, I took them off of a Tahoe, but they were aftermarket wheels.

So far I changed plugs, cabin filter (which by the looks Im assuming the original owner did'nt know existed), air filter, carbon filter delete, clean throttle body, adjusted the bed, debadged, changed shift knob and debadged. Going to change all diff and trans fluids, bhlm, black emblems, tint, change brakes and rotors, wheels/tires, bilsteins, led tails, and give it a good detail (since I do that on the side). Im wanting to trade my 265/75 for some 265/70's.

Match pretty good in person?! I thought about adding this to my list instead of buying a color matched one.

I'm going to swap to a trd grille and hood w/ scoop but for the time being I wanted a cheap facelift. 4 coats of white and 3 of the glossifier and I'd say it came within 5% of the 040 Super white, it's more of the texture that defuses the clear-coat. Looks great in person!

Taking apart the grille assembly was the most difficult part, and it was pretty basic to get the trim piece off.

Talk about single cab probs. The OEM driveshaft sure doesn't like 18" of rear travel. I spent half the day yesterday correcting the previous owner's mistake of welding the spring under axle kit perch incorrectly, then welding a 10* shim to it to "try" to correct it. I was experiencing severe vibrations at any speed between 25-75mph. What I originally believed to be a U-joint, but after 2 weeks, I checked the U-joint again and it was completely shot. In fact, pulled it and found that 2 of the ends (inside the caps) had been sheared down to cone-shapes.

Long story short, got new axle perches from Kartek for $26.99, disassembled the rear suspension, took a grinder down to the old perches, set the pinion correctly, welded the new ones on, and bolted it all back together. Truck drives like a damn Prius now, had no idea so much of what I was experiencing was due to that pinion angle.

Probably not the place to ask this and I have googled it for two days. Can someone tell me if I can put trd OR or trd sport suspension on the regular cab? Im sure the front coils are stiffer to support the 4.0 but surely someone knows. Thanks.

Sliders... Anyone w/ mobtown bolt on? Had been toying with the idea of sliders for a while and pretty sure I looked at mobtown website not long ago - price raised? They still offer reg cab sliders? Haven't emailed em' yet. Anyhow, those with the mobtown bolt ons... happy?
