just a personal opinion here...but why lol, that I dont think would work at all since youd need a stupid long shock with a drop bracket

Even with a drop bracket the amount of wheel travel is about the same as stock, at least with the bump stop relocation attached. So I guess in theory if that was removed you could gain more travel because it seems like they put it there (so low) only to prevent your wheel from hitting the wheel well.

Fabtech makes a 6" kit with their Dirt Logic coilovers, RCD also makes 6" kit that they offer Fox coilovers with, and Icon makes coilovers that are a direct bolt on to the ProComp 6" kit

I have the Fabtech 6" with Dirt Logic coil overs w/resi, but wheel travel is still limited. I'll post a picture to show what I'm talking about

Granted, I have my old shocks on right now, I'm putting the dirt logic's back on this weekend. But that bump stop is still pretty close to stock travel

If you were to remove the bump stops to a drop bracket lift it doesn't really mean you're gonna droop out 6" more and if you tried you'd be getting into the coilover an blowing your cv axle in the process since the control arms are still stock length.

Going long travel with a drop bracket really wouldn't work since the geometry would then be off and it wouldn't cycle as initially designed. Theres a build on here where a guy went from a drop bracket to long travel. I can get you the link inf you're interested.

Now I did find this, which could be a way Fabtech is trying to address what I'm talking about.

Drop bracket to long travel is definitely excessive but I would like to see that thread just to see what that even looks like

Maybe you can take that top peice off and modify it to be just a tad higher and put some superbumps on it? Might get a little more up travel, but I wouldn't go to excessive because I'm sure it's that low for some reason.

Thought about shaving it down but definitely don't want to do anything permanent yet.

he ended up removing the drop bracket pretty much. in the end they're just not meant to perform offroad travel-wise if that makes sense. That big bump stop is there to not bottom out the longer shock.

I enjoy the day time rides. Nighttime maybe at some point. I like to look around places I've never been before. Inner Florida is still pretty beautiful away from everyone.:mudding:
