FJ case in Tacoma

Yeah I made it and used it to keep the throw on the twin sticks within the factory cupholder area. @HomerTaco had to use it to reduce the throw on his triple stick setup to get it to fit in front of the manual trans shifter.

He milled spacers and longer shift forks for the twin stick assembly which changes the shift fulcrum for both shifters in the assembly. I have pics somewhere in my build thread.

 

So a setup similar to the URD short throw...hmmm

 

kind of but not exactly - the URD kit used a extended piece that gets placed on the end of the stock shifter. Mark built complete replacement shift forks for the assembly.

 

Here's what the kit looks like...all laser cut to maintain tolerances for fit on the hex shafts davez uses...I used to include two sets of forks which reduced the throw by different amounts but now just include the 1/2" longer ones.

 

Pricing? I ordered the sticks via frontrange off-road. Might have to cancel the order now

 

How soon are you looking? I have no sets right now and it usually takes about a week to get them back from laser. $50 donation usually covers shipping as well

So the short shift kit could be used on the fror kit with some welding and beers?

Anyone have pricing on the Daves twin stick kit? I'll try and call later today.

You need a double pole, double throw, momentary switch.

I can rebuild a 3126 with my eyes closed but wiring kills me

 

That switch won't work as it's not momentary on/off.
