Why that chambering? Never looked into that one because i didnt figure i needed another 223 chambering for a while unless it was a 22lr

Since a 556 can shoot both 556 and 223 but a 223 can't shoot 556 due to pressure difference. A guy created this wylde barrel so that it can shoot 223 better than a 556 barrel can but still shoot 556

 

See my last post, you get the reliability of a 556 with the cheapness of a 223 except I think Wolfe ammo fucks it up. Not sure still kinda new on it

I thought it had to do with length, the cases were ever so slightly different so when the set in chamber one Dident seat fully

 

What alloy?

 

Thicker. One has a higher chamber pressure then the other

I think theres some more to why 223 barrel can't shoot 556, but I know the pressure was a big thing

 

Its a maybe because I want a high clearance and he wants my stock bumper and $1000 and I meet him in Fort Collins

 

6061. I can sorce 7071 if you wanted.

Well I know @FirstGen Jer always is finding damn good deal. Found 2 different pairs of Kings, TC uppers and a few other goodies
