This site and the people in the 3rd gen forum magnify issues and need to stop being such little babies. My truck is awesome and i have had no problems. These bad threads get into peoples heads when they have little knowledge of how anything works.

P.S. I dont like the skewp, but I'm also lazy. So if I can get the hood flutter fixed by adding an anchor to it, I'm in.

An unusually high amount of pinstriping.
6,000 mi in two months, with some where around 2,000 of it on logging roads..... And no problems. Ok, I forgot to mention I changed out the tires because I was getting flats with the stock ones.

Bought mine last November (TRD Sport DCLB) Getting 24 IMP MPG in town, close to 30 on the highway at 100KPH. Nary a problem. Dealership service is excellent. Great truck very happy. Looking forward to the next 10 years with this truck. More if I am still around.

    Take Care

not all tacoma owner participate in web forums, and thinking so in order to justify an opinion is just ridiculous. people love to go online and complain much more than they love to go online and sing praises.

Right. I'm not really interested in taking sides with whether this is a good idea for a thread, but to try to determine some kind of random sampling based statistic from anecdotes on this website for a vehicle that is mass produced on such a large scale is violating some essential assumptions regarding random sample based statistics.

The data on this website is not good for someone who really wants to find the answer to the question on in the OP on this site simply because the samples of Tacoma owners on this site are not random. If it was a survey sent out randomly to a sample of new 3rd gen owners then this would be a more valid way of forming an understanding of whether or not there are more satisfied owners or unsatisfied owners. Even then you have to think about whether people who are satisfied vs. unsatisfied would return the survey to the study. Possibly you would get a larger amount of people who were unsatisfied because they may think their feedback will lead to compensation somehow. Then the other group may consist of people who are still in the "honeymoon" period with their truck.

But people on this website make up a subset of the population of Tacoma owners that will not yield results for owner satisfaction or reliability concerns that could be used by someone who really needs to know the answer asked in the OP.

However if all you want to know is if there are more unsatisfied 3rd gen owners than satisfied ones on this site, then carry on!

Hey I'm taking statistics this semester so deal with it lol.
