Same set up. Mine do rub mud flaps when turning sharp on a dip. They look great so it is worth it. I sold my factory wheels and tires to local car lot for 600 and kept my sensors. Keep yours they run 170 from the dealer.

I'm trading my 2014 FJ on either a 2017 Tacoma OR or TRD Pro and I do not want to lift it.

Do y'all think I can get away with my current BFG K02 275/70/17s?

I have about 300 miles on them and a set of 5 cost me over $1450.

Fantastic tires but if I can't fit them on the Tacoma it would be a deal breaker at least temporarily. I know it's an unusual size but it works perfectly on the FJ with no rubbing whatsoever (with 285's you really need to lift it). Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated.

And if you are looking for a 2014 FJ with 3,100 miles in Army Green continue to check out Toyota of Dallas in DFW or send me a PM and I will keep you updated.

Currently at Discont Tire getting install of 265/70/17. Makes me a little nervous as the salesperson says Toyota recommends 265/65/17. The smaller tire actually 25 bucks more as less common size sold.

    Fingers crossed no rubbing.

As I mentioned elsewhere in this thread, it really depends on the caster settings your truck has from the factory.

I currently have a TRD ORDC on order and I like the look of the TRD Pro 17" rims and 265/70/17 BFG AT TKO2 much better than the factory wheels and tires. A couple questions for a newbie:
    - How do the bigger AT tires affect gas mileage?
    - Do the bigger tires have any affect on the accuracy of the speedometer?
    - Is there any significant road noise from the AT tires?

-If you go E rated, you'll probably see a bigger drop. I have C rated, and saw at most 1 mpg.
-Yes, looks like 1-2 mph less. Don't forget to calibrate the navigation to a different tire size so your travel times and mpg calc on the dash is calibrated. It hasn't really been that accurate anyways, but it'll be closer than if you didn't.
-Little more road noise, but it seems negligible. I was expecting more when I switched.

What's up buddy. Is there any lifting or leveling you had to do to fit the wheels and tires?

2017 Taco TRD OR Double Cab
Greetings - I owned a 98 Taco (my first vehicle), then bought a 03 4Runner, and recently, purchased a 17 TRD Offroad double cab (MGM). I have spent the last two weeks reading these forums, and tonight - after placing orders for the TRD Pro 17 rims from a dealership in KS (what?), and ordering BFG T/A KO2 265/70/17 tires from Discount Tire, and Lugs from Ebay, I simply must say thank you to this place and its participants. Will upload pics when things are assembled (stage one). Located in Portland, OR. Thanks again all.

Now I just need to buy some KO2s and I'll be good to go! Looking for the best price around, I have one more contact to ask, anyone have suggestions? Going 265/70/17 I'm from Connecticut/New England

    Thanks

Great look'n Truck! Those colors (Orange & Black) really pop. Did u blackout the badges, or order them black?

I'm putting my 17 TRD Sport order together, wanted Cement, but only available on the Pro model, so my second choice is Super White. Going for the same sorta look, Black & White. I'll immediately get rid of the chrome badges/black'm out if I can't order in black. Love those Pro rims! Not sure if I can order with those rims, or is that done after purchase?

Must be a lot of OEM rims for sale
