Yep, waiting for the twin sticks and switch to come in.

 

Naches would be pretty tough for a stock suspension, and stock ground clearance. There are some pretty tight, off camber turns where your tires will be squeezed against tree roots and rocks.

I would suggest fortune creak for your first 4wd trial, that's the first trail @northwesttaco and I started on. We both did it in stock suspensions a couple years ago when we got our trucks. It's one of our favorite trails!! Love going back there.

 

Maybe if you have power mirrors. My mirrors are hand powered.

Nice little step bit should put in the perfect size hole for DPDT switch. Just curious, what do you plan to use the switch for?

 

The switch will be used to activate ADD the front differential, I wish those locking hub kits weren't ridiculously expensive

 

Looks awesome! I will give it a try! Looks like a there and back trail, so how long would you say it takes you for a round trip, not counting sight seeing?

Little update: Iggy is home with us now, he's got a cast and will be living in his crate for about 8 weeks haha. Poor dude.

I'd say $33k-$35k. Theres a truck on here that just sold for $34k but also has gears/lockers and LT but with twice the miles.

I'd start with $10k off that price. That's just me I guess...

It's 3yrs old with 25k miles, which is on the low end of average miles per year. I'd be more concerned with how the truck mechanically is. It looks well taken care of, and has probably $10k or more in bolt ons. See what Nada or Edmund's has to say just to get a ball park idea of what the value of the truck is, then figure in the bolt ons, and estimate the value from there. He could be starting high and open to offers. Says "serious inquiries only"

It's a nice truck. Maybe his wife told him he had to sell it??

 

I'll be headed up to van epps pass tomorrow morning. @JDAM is going to meet me Friday morning. If anyone gets a hair and wants to come camp for a night come on up. We'll be there till sunday. Probably won't be much entertainment during day light hours we'll be hunting big stinky bucks.

If you don't want the antlers, I'd be happy to take them off your hands. My pitbulls seem to chew through about anything else, including frozen deer femur.

 

I'll just say, if I'm successful, it will be the the biggest buck I've ever shot, so it will get mounted for sure. If you want the bigger bones I'll save you some. Bear season is also in swing, so I've got 2 options open. Hell I think it's kitty cat season too.

Also, if your dogs are keen to antlers, take them for a walk in the woods come late March through April. That is usually when elk and deer shed their antlers.

 

In 30 minutes time, 2 dogs each took off 1/3 and 1/2 of a couple frozen femurs. They were so excited to get the bones and not especially happy when the bones were taken away. We can't trust ours with regular bones due to their jaws being basically hydraulic.

Thanks for info on sheds. There are plenty of deer around my house, but I usually only see the does and fawns. Haven't seen the elk close to home, but I have seen moose.
