Oooooo I should probably install my radio finally.

 

@MJonaGS32 What food do would you like me to bring? My wife is studying for her state boards, otherwise I'd ask her to bake some cookies. I can bring anything store bought, I'm no cook.

 

Its up to you. There's a lot of stuff in the area to get. You can either wait until the afternoon to get some stuff, or idk if anyone is bringing anything for breakfast yet

anyone know how to notch tubes and weld? Trying to reroute some metal and mod a baja rack. Not entirely sure I want to go that route, so many ideas...

I want to install my Ham/CB radio, so would be thankful for any assistance with that, at least the wiring, while I decide where to mount the thing. Maybe I'll get some ideas looking at other rigs. I'll do this if I have time.


I just order Uniballs to replace on my Camburg set up. The lowers are toast, and one of the bolts is stripped, freaking $60 bolt!. I can do both sides by myself in less than 4 hours. 1 of those hours is looking for tools! I think that will be my priority. MJ, is there a vice available? I have all the tools necessary, just might need a vice to remove the uniballs.

FML!!!! Was planning on making it but now I have to work. A FOH quit so now I have to cover for her and work a late party...nothing like working a 16 hour day when you're on salary

I'm never gonna make a mod day again at this rate.

 

MJ has a great vice. I used it for my Ujoints

Anyone have a grease gun with a 90degree grease fitting they can bring? I just remembered that I had to skip a few zerks that I didn't have room to get my grease gun connected to

 

Anyone need spare LCAs? I have 2 set $40/each and 1 that was rewelded for free.

 

can any electrical guru's wire help an OEM FJ foglight switch for me? it's installed but the backlight/on-off lights don't work properly. i'm decent at wrenching but 'lectrical... no bueno

 

Did you run a ground to the switch?

I would like to install the 2nd shackle flip kit. Should take about 1 hour. Only got one installed last weekend and I get home too late from work to grind the rivets off.

I can get there early and will bring a bunch of scrambled eggs. Or I can cook em' on the swingout table while working on the truck

 

just a note, i won't be there until late. i have a cross band repeat class from 9-12.

 

how often do these happen? i will be moved to Concord finally on friday or saturday, but then headed down to Bakersfield for about 10 days
