i only asked because knowing the labor rates for these shops and the cost of quality materials you may come out better if you can get them prepainted and save your black ones but probably better to ask david first

I think a few pics of all the superwhites together might need to be in order.

Do all the new tacos come with the car style e-brake now? Mine has the pull handle just below the 4wd selector. I like it the way it is.

I will have to try to find a pic of a 2016/2017 manual tranny and see where it is located.

i understand you wanting them painted it's a personal preference issue of which i also preffer the paint matched flares. there is something to be said for the black as it won't show chips or scratches i still stand by what i stated earlier. yes they can be painted but on a brand new beautiful truck like that i would deffinately have it done at a shop for the best results. i would also insist they were removed from the truck to be painted it will cost a little more in labor but will provide a better end product

I second the removal of the flares prior to paint as it just isn't worth the prep to cover the truck to prevent overspray. Also that factory finish on the truck would suck to mess up. I played that game with my 04 taco and learned the hard way. I have some paint guns that havnt been used in a while if you want to paint them yourself. I will need to check and probably clean them out first before use. I would prefer to use a paint gun and real paint over a rattle can as this is a lot of area to paint and the coat can be much more consistent with a gun. Although, duplicolor does make color match paints and Im pretty sure they have super white available. If you go with the duplicolor, I would recommend getting another source for the clear coat afterwards.
