You happen to have a picture of what your truck looks like with those duratracs? I seem to be in the same predicament as others here when it trying to put 285's on stock wheels but needing to figure out exactly what spacer to add to avoid rubbing.

Here's the best pictures I have at the moment.....Not sure if they really show the tires well enough to see what you want to see....

2wd, 98% hwy driving, 2in front spacer only(rear suspension not touched), 1.25 spidertrax spacers (to clear UCA), 285/70/17 BFG KO2 w/stock wheels, air dam removed......only rubbing I get is in reverse w/wheel locked (which is hardly ever). Tire is very beefy enough for hwy driving (saving mpgs) and light trail rides. Mud tires will kill your mpg. Get a beefy All-Terrain that'll get all your needs done. Let me know what you think.

I have a 3in lift and I'm running 295/75/16 size tires on my Volk te37s wheel specs are 16x8 0 offset.. I had to do a CMC in order to get rid of the rubbing. Actually putting on a spacer would have brought the wheel out more causing it to hit the bottom edge of the fender flare.. I didn't need a spacer to clear the UCA. Under normal driving conditions I had some very slight rubbing on the frame when the wheel was at a 3/4s turn and the suspension was flexing... In normal driving conditions it wasn't that big of a deal. Of course if your going down light trails or any type of off roading you will definetly need to do a CMC.

B.O.R.A. and Spidertrax both make high quality spacers. The owner of BORA emailed me a response saying not to use loctite when I asked him about it. Just check torque after the first 50 miles and whenever you rotate the tires. My spacers have not budged after 15,000 miles over the course of the last year with them on.

I put a set of 4 Bora 1" spacers on 24,000+ miles ago. I've checked torque 2 times. Still tight. No issues. None of the "sure fire trouble" that some predicted for me.... I off road 'em quite a bit, and have had tires/wheels off and on a number of times (balancing and rotating tires, installing lift, etc...) Quite simply, they are NOT a problem.
