Mounted up the awning with some brackets I made for about $7 at Home Depot.. I picked up a set of 4in galvanized steel L brackets that look like this:

I had to mark and drill a new hole so they would line up with the Awning slots. After drilling it looked like this:

I then cut the excess steel off with a Dremel and some pliers. I didn't have to do this but i figured why not:

Finally I mounted it up to the truck and it looks great.. The mounts are super sturdy and I was able to utilize all 3 L brackets.

I also clear my rear door by about a 1/4 inch

Another small update, got this in the mail today.. ARB Fridge Transit Bag! Scored it on Amazon in their "used" section. It was labeled as "Like New" which simply means the packaging was damaged, but not the item. I was still able to use my prime and get the free 2 day shipping. When it got to my house the only "damage" was the label on the inside of the plastic was folded, blocking the label. Idk if anything else was damaged that maybe they changed but as long as the bag itself was fine, thats all that matters. Got it for $105 so i saved around 23 dollars. Really like it a lot and I feel a lot better with it on. Going to be protected for sure

SICK build! Really loving the wheel tire combo! I've been waiting to see the SR8 17's with 315 MTR's on them. I'll be getting the MTR's next. How much cutting and pounding did you have to do? And do your bushwhackers cover the tread of the tire that touches the ground? And, looks like you haven't regeared yet. How's that working for you?

Thanks! As far as cutting i took about 2.5-3 inches out of both the front and the back. then did about 2 for the stock fenders that i ran before the bushwackers. When i got the bushwackers I followed the fender line where it curved under, normally where the bushwackers would mount up, and made the bolts functional instead of just for show like they used to be. everything clears fine expect i do occasionally rub my frame when backing up on a slant but nothing crazy. Spacers could fix it but i really am not a fan of them. As far as running stock gears so far its been fine for me. I live in a relatively flat area, and i get pretty decent mpgs, about 15 highway and 18-19 city. Its no race truck and it does that a little gas to get it rolling which is where the gears would come into play. Gears would always help off road and towing also. I am planning to make the jump to 4.56s just gotta save up the money.
I didn't put any pictures up of the cutting i don't think but i followed this here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/slimwood-shadys-4runner-build.152599/page-40
And referred to this for the bushwackers, although this was much much easier and simple:

Thank bud!! I'll check them out. I geared to 4:88 when I went to 34" k02's. But yup they measure about 32.4ish so now my truck just drinks gas now.

Looks good. Seems tho with only one bolt on the cross bar it may be a pivot point and the whole awning could move forward or backward. Not much meat left on the bracket but I would add two bolts. Also I'd add a washer under the bracket to make the height flush with the side rail. But if it works it works, just my opinion.

Yeah those are the springs I have.. I also have the d29xl aal that helps handle all the extra weight in the truck.
Im going to add a washer for sure to make it sit even with the side rail, I actually have it apart now to paint the mounts for a cleaner finish. As far as the pivoting, it's not able to pivot at all because of the 2 bolts on the awning. They keep it all in place yanno

Lift? Our trucks do great at 3" no more unless you start doing SAS and stuff like that. Stick with 3" and since you're a 2nd gen 35's are easy to fit just gotta trim the fenders and cab mount IIRC
