How do you like having the antenna on the driver's side? That's where I was planning on putting mine but I was debating moving it to the passengers side.

Last night I did a little upgrade on the seat covers, so out with the old Carhartt Duck Weave Seat covers and in with the gently used Wet Okole Seat Covers off of a TW member, big thanks to @perfectsoldier23!

The old Carhartt Duck Weave Seat covers were from my 2013 access cab with a fold flat passenger seat and they fit perfectly fine on my 2016 seats, going to clean them up and they will be for sale shortly if anyone is interested!

    New Wet Okole's:

I like it, it's not in the way or obstructs my sight at all. And it was easier to run the cabling while running the rest of the wiring I did for my light bar at the time.

I put my (ham radio) antenna on the passenger side because I was worried about it being in the way on the driver's side, but now I wish I hadn't because I have to worry about hitting it on low-hanging trees on the right side. Definitely recommend doing the driver's side.

Been a while but finished up some projects.

Installed a Bakflip G cover a while back but didn't have a place to put the bike so i got a front rail and cut it down and attached it to the cover. Probably going to get different fork mounts for clearance when the cover is folded all the way up but it works really well right now and no leaks!

The reverse lights were a product of the UK light conversion over here... they deleted my reverse lights(legal here) to get the turnsignals legal (they have to be amber). So with them doing that i had no way of seeing what i was backing into and it gets WAY dark here so that wasn't going to fly.

I was really disappointed to find that in the light conversion they ended up cutting up the factory harness pretty bad and looks like I might need to replace it once i get stateside. Just infuriates me since the truck was fresh off the boat from the plant and completely virgin when they did so. So much for that $36K truck.

Anyways, the lights were Rigid SR-M's and i love them so far. Barely notice them when looking at the truck but man are they bright!IMG_1383.jpgIMG_1385.jpgIMG_1381.jpgIMG_1380.jpg

Looks like a nice clean setup. Just one problem.... I use my center console storage area lol.

Haha yeah, it's not too bad. I still store stuff in it. It'll give me a lot more room once I mount it flush to the front. I was just hesitant to mounting it somewhere else that would be visible should I ever remove the CB. In the center console all the holes would not be visible should I ever remove it

Any chance you could post a few picture of how/where those lights are mounted?

First oil change today at about 3k miles.

All other fluids, caps, pressures were tight and at normal levels and good to go.

Every 5k from now on. Sky is not falling yet on the 2017s lol

Icon stage 3 with UCAs going on in a few days will report anything abnormal in the suspension.

If you look under your bumper there are two bolts screwed in there. I mounted my lights in the same spot. Sorry I'm in the office otherwise I'd take some pictures for you.

I was a tester for airaid. Got to drive around with their prototype intake and they did a few dyno pulls with my truck....paid off because they sent me the production model. I got it last night and installed it today!!

What were the real world results on the dyno? Can you supply the PN for the retail product?

8 hp and 9 torque gain. They have the dyno sheet on their website in that link I attached. It is kick ass, sounds great and much better throttle response. The transmission tsb wasnt released when I had the prototype and it felt strong. I haven't driven it yet today and I have had the TSB done. I will post tomorrow on that for sure.

    Greetings All -

Just received my new Tacoma Front Skid Plate from Olathe Toyota Parts via FedEx. The packaging box was badly damaged and the agent handed me a bolt that had just dropped out of the box. I believe it was one of the two Bolt "D". The other five bolts are present. Not sure if anything else is missing. Is there any extra part for the "Jack Point" or the Drain Plug"?

Is there anyone out there that might be able to alert me if I am missing anything. Many thanks as always!

You accepted the package? By law you're allowed I think it's 10 mins to inspect all deliveries before signing. If it was damaged enough to have parts falling out of the packaging I would've rejected the delivery.

Sorry, hope you've got everything required and it works out!

I removed the TRD Off Road sticker and built the dog platform. My giant German Shepard barely fits.

Now debadge and remove the black vinyl between the front and rear doors. Looks so much cleaner!

Yes, you are right. I was given the opportunity to reject the package and probably made a mistake. Nonetheless, I can handle a missing bolt. All the waste in extra shipping, etc., just seemed excessive. Thanks for your thoughts.

First of all, I have to respect Airaid for doing the dyno tests and posting the results.

Looking at the chart, the gains are higher than 8HP and 9 ft.lbs at some engine speeds. These numbers are the gains at 4900 RPMs.

At 4200 RPMs, it looks more like 15HP and 18 ft.lbs.

    I like what I see.....

I was going to add the flat black letters on the tailgate, remove the V6 badge and get a black grille. I can't decide if I want to debadge on just swap for black Tacoma badges.
