    To me that's still good news cause someone can still do it. No rush, I'm in still! Just got confirmation that my stuff shipped today, so if it needs to sit around and wait for the switch ring than so be it.

    Well that's the best part. While I waited for the ring to come in I just let the plug hang out of the hole. I kept my old 4x4 switch in the center console until I got the ring. Once it got there I put the ring in, fully tested the switch and then installed that!

    So I can install the whole assembly and then throw the ring and 4x4 switch in there once I get it, without having to take the whole thing apart again?

    Correct. Just leave the plug hanging from the hole after install. Just fully test the switch for 4x4 control and lights before you epoxy it in place. I can never just let parts sit around so I always figure out a way to install it while I'm waiting without having to do more work later lol
