Trying to hunt down the plastic isolators for the snorkel. Apparently they don't sell them seperately so they have to hunt some down for me

 

Can I jump in on that offer. But my bumber won't be here till December I'm thinking.

There are a few of us who can weld, I'll let others chime in first but if you need to get it done I'll take care of it, there's people with better abilities than me tho

 

My weld ons from 4x got to my house in 4 days

 

Must be used to 3rd gens. Their ujoints don't need grease apparently.

Ah Hunter these guys really sound like they suck, I would consider a different dealership as well. Sorry to hear about your struggles, hope to see you at Rausch

 

I agree with the others, no stainless skids, they will be much more expensive than regular a36 or whatever the steel supply store has and offer the same protection. As others said I think most skids on the market need reinforcement, except the subzero special , going on sale as soon as I have a shop and some better tools

 

If I make the trek Ill be ariving at noon...

 

Yup, Ryan's homemade skid took some abuse at RC with him running 265's... Held up better than my, now heavily reinforced, RCI trans skid.

 

And the welding finally begins. Got bogged down tonight doing other things.
