2.5 is the MAX that you want to do on oem uca's. I would not- could be ok if no off road. Could put strain on your CV angles. Also, i have been told setting 5100 to 2.5 will stiffen the ride. Many get longer springs for the 5100's- old man emu 885, or 887 if you change the uca.

UCA's will help you get more caster when going above 2". I ran 3" on stock uca with good alignment and no bad road behavior.

I'm at 1.75 bilsteins and AAL if you ever wanna get an idea of what you're looking for. I'm obviously not shelling out tons of cash for my truck.

So it's a no go? lol I'm not really going to do much wheeling, the most I'd do is do donuts in mudholes or construction sites. The CV axles were one of my biggest concerns cause i'm not really trying to fork out some cash for replacements parts. I'm a broke ass college kid so this is a slow budget build hahah

How much did your AAL add? I'm not too keen on the idea of a rake look, i think the tacomas look amazing leveled.

    .85 Bilsteins, no AAL.

    If only they were black!

There's a used car lot up the road that always has Tacomas out on display, one has the FJ TT wheels, in black! Almost want to see if he would sell/trade wheels. Silver wheels would look way better on a silver truck...

You may get lucky with the alignment. CV boots will suffer no matter what and the diff drop doesn't do much. Do it once and do it right.

You sound like a guy I want to party with.

    Thanks bro!

After doing research and stuff on spacers and blocks, thats definitely going to be a no go hahaha

I might upgrade to 265/75 if I find them for a steal like these. I found these off of craiglist from another taco owner that took these off of his 3rd gen for 250 practically brand new.

I might do it m̶a̶n̶ (thanks for the heads up @SC2SC) lol your truck looks good with it. Where'd you get your AAL from?

A fellow TW member, we're always buying each other's parts.

How soon you trying to do some mods? I can usually find some really killer deals or I may end up upgrading at some point in the future. ;)
