I love how they fit in all the nooks and crannies. Really does wonders for my OCD.

you can ask mike or any of the others that work on vehicles when i'm laying paint or fabbing parts things can happen at any time. try to learn from them so they don't happen again. i can read all i want but until i put my hands on something and do it i never truly learn. you should be very excited about it. it's a cool step and when you get to doing it you'll realize things just make since one of the worst things you can try to do is over think it. you only think you like this stuff now just wait until you actually get to doing it, you'll be hooked unless you don't like getting dirty, which some people don't. your going to get the lift on and as much as you say you don't need bigger tires when you see it lifted you'll want them. by the way i did order my new tires today

Thanks for the inspiration and kind words. I love building things and working in general and I don't mind getting dirty. That's why God made washing machines (my Grandpa used to say that)

And I will be looking to run a 285 tire. But that would be for a few more years because I hardly even drive and it's babied the entire way.

well there's a problem if you really do have OCD, which i'm not making light of, your waiting until you think you have everything perfect before lifting. what are you going to do with the variables a broken bolt, nuts frozen with rust, or problems just getting parts out? it's all part of it bud your smart you'll figure it out

Definitely appreciate you and every other single person that has stuck with me through this process.

I'm going to have @Texoma take a picture of the look on my face as soon as the lift is complete. He's the man around here and I trust him to do it right and maybe I can even learn something about wrenching.

I've always wanted a "jacked up" truck ever since I can remember. Truly blessed that it's going to finally happen

will he, idk how to phrase this, but kinda let you do it with gis help and instruction? it'll be faster if he does it and you help but it'll really make you feel good if he kinda assists and does QC on your work and you'll learn more

New nutts and bolts... The truck is new.
    No rusted nuts & bolts.

But if you wait a few years....:annoyed:

I'm sure he will, but then again I can learn a lot just by seeing how it's done because I've literally never done work like that. Sure I wouldn't mind tightening something, or helping here and there. But I don't want to get in anybody's way and possibly forget a step or something.

tell me about it i bought my truck in december last year it had been a lease in pa. it took me almost 4 hrs to do the front brakes because they were all rusted which should have taken no more than 30 minutes per side. everything on my suspension was rusted to hell.
