Ok I'm on a 6 and 35s so I should go with a smaller lift. I can 2.5 resis in the rear and in the process of putting 2.5 extended travel coilovers up front on my 6 inch lift

Not sure if the coilovers you have up front will work for 3" :notsure: somebody with more knowledge can chime in

Also idk if it will be hard to get back to 3" with (I'm assuming here) a Drop Bracket lift

Can I ask why. Higher center of gravity easier to roll over?

Drop brackets just ride like crap from what I've heard.

    Plus you lose ground clearance

Nothing other than that though. Could fit some wide tires in there that should help out and balance it maybe idk that's what I was thinking

I get sketched out on off-camber stuff with 2.5" and an RTT, so I'd probably shit myself or turn around with a 6" lift lol

Yeah that would be scary with a RTT

Usually not a fan of this color but with the current setup it looks excellent!

Honestly if I had to do it all over again, I'd focus on skids and sliders right off the bat, and then get a lot of overlanding gear.. fridge, tent, awnings, dual batteries, camp gear, lights etc... a decent set of tires would serve really well for an overlanding setup and suspension could always come down the road.. you'll see most true overland setups are relatively subtle when it comes to suspension and tires because they set up for long trips where mpg and ride quality could be just as important as off road capabilites.. That being said, I love the 35s and the 3in lift combo lol but that all came before I geared my build towards overlanding. Most people wouldn't get 35s before skids but like I said I wasn't building for overlanding until later in my build. I'm really happy where I am now though and there is still a ways to go

you're going to need to do some research before you start jumping into ditching the Drop Bracket lift for a 3" coilover setup.

You will need to weld back in the factory crossmember, get new shocks, new UCA's, some other stuff.
