Sunroof

I have taken my 2016 Tacoma in three different times due to the sunroof leaking. First time they said it had a bent drain tube then the seal was bad and the last time they said it's designed to leak. Anybody have this problem?

 

No problem at all, no leaks and I'm in the rain forest.

Have them put that ... "it's designed to leak" ... in writing so you can live with it better ...

 

That's what they told me I was tired of arguing with them about so I left.

 

Does the glass close flush with the roof? Maybe insects have built a nest in the drain tube(s)

 

Everything is flush and clean

 

Blow the drain tubes out. I wonder if they are even connected.

 

Tell his face was designed to have your fist in it, or that his ass is designed to have your foot in it.

 

If I was at a dealership and had your problem and the service writer said anything remotely like, 'your sunroof is designed to leak' it would be bad. really bad. How did you not freak out on them?

 

They justified it by showing me a brand new Tacoma being water tested and that sunroof leaked as well lol. There is a drip pan around the seal so he said it was normal lol

 

Not sure what else to do at this point.

 

Sell the truck get a 2015.

 

I'll trade you trucks straight up. You don't need these problems

I sent them a email earlier

 

Mine did it. Took it in and it's a timing issue. The amount it closes needs to be adjusted slightly. Fixed!
