My best friend and his brother came to St Pete several years ago with a 14 foot Alumacraft w/9.9 Mercury.
They stayed a few days and said, "We want to see Alligators!"
Now we already been to the Everglades.. So we seen a few gators.
We left one morning for the Braden River which was too low to putter around in.
We got back in the car and I remembered what they said
"Hey guys! Y'all want to see alligators? Let's go 6 miles south to Myakka River!"
Well we put the boat in this coffee colored thick sludge.
The motor barely would start with the crap in the impeller.
Got it fired and off we go...
Can't find any gators?... Relax... I know they are here.
We come around the West Bank and there are freakin 50 alligators on the bank in the sun.
We motor down a safe distance and they enter all at once like D-Day...
Crawling into the river.
Man they were on top of our ass in 2 minutes. They are Fast!
Before we knew it we were surrounded ...
The dang boat was flushing fish out of the grass and Lilly's, and the gators were on Feeding Frenzy!
We hauled ass out of there!

This will be a guided airboat tour. My moms a high dollar sight seer!
She is in for a treat! Fer sure!

I'll be sitting out this season, I usually hunt in GA with my wife's cousins husband. Last season I hunted up in the panhandle with my cousin just south of the AL /FL line but didn't have very good luck & for $1100 I decided not to take a chance again. Probably be back in GA next year.

My first deer was a 6 point taken on a WMA about 2 hrs north & he wasn't even close to 150 lbs. Haha

 

i had to sit out the last season and a half i'm ready to kill something. shoulder still not ready to bow hunt but when muzzle loader season rolls around i pitty them
