How do these codes compare to PIDs used with OBDII dongles? I'm looking for the equivalent to use with my OBD dongle where it uses a PID # and an equation. Do you happen to have this?

I don't know anything about the dongles. I would assume they would be available with the apps that you use to access the parameters, I don't have any experience with them. Maybe someone else can chime in that knows more.

It's an 06. Never dug around too deep in the scan gauge other than setting the color to match the dash

Try these and see what happens, the Fj Cruiser shares the same parameters as the Tacoma, I think.

I put in the 2012+ numbers and it showed 275* after a twenty minute drive. Don't think that's right but atleast its better than err

I remember I chose the MX so I can read trans Temps, and the other one was a plus. Sounds like yours doesn't have it also. Sorry.

So Trans Temp is not plug and play for the 2011 Taco? Looking at purchasing the UltraGauge MX to monitor trans temp while towing.

It is, you have to plug in the mgauge settings for the pan temp to show up. In factory configuration it will show the torque converter outlet temp only.
