This has happened to me twice. Bent my glasses frame. Almost took me off the bike. If it wasn't for the glasses I think I would be blind. It's like a sucker punch. Also have had a bee go between my helmet and head. I could hear it right next to my ear. Had Carol on the back. Talk about a quick stop. Why I didn't get stung I don't know.

 

Already asked the mods. I have 3 I think following me. The pop up will tell you one time. Then it goes away never to be seen again. Can't see who, can't track them.
There should be an option not to be followed. Not sure if there is one. I'll need to look
But they told me I can't find out...

And another happy Friday morning!! Have had much better weeks also, hoping the weekend is better for everyone and myself included.

LOL never thought of Bat Cave like that when I lived in Asheville but should have, well played. Sounds like you had a good trip and covered some ground. When I moved to Asheville, NC from Moyock, NC while being stationed in Nofuck and Va. Beach took all my family's worldly possessions in a Uhaul truck up Black Mountain. Didn't think that POS was going to make it must have been doing all of 20 mph with the petal to the metal by the time hit the crest of the mountain. Ended up staying in Asheville for a few years after I retired from the Navy. When I was in uniform in Asheville a lot of people would come up and ask me what a sailor was doing in the mountains. I told them you can take the boy out of the mountains but never take the mountains out of the man. Then I'd say actually I took a ship up the French Broad River until I ran aground and been here ever since. WNC is one of the better places I have ever lived.
