What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Like the retro stickers , but I Don't mean to be a negative nancy or anything but please don't put sport stickers on a sr5. If you do please at least remove the sr5 badges. Maybe I'm wrong but a sport wouldn't have both. And I would hate to be seeing a TW member with both going . I don't know which package you have exactly, but I see sr5 on the tailgate but it looks like a sport hood. So you had me actually looking around on Google for a bit. Lol

I got some custom ones on mine because I didn't like the sport. By @CBoy808

Edit: so it's been figured out that pre 2010 models had both badges. Later model TRD did not have sr5 badges

 

Uh...my OR has OR and Sr5 badging from the factory...not sure what the big deal is if the dude wants to slap a Sport sticker on his bedside....

 

I honestly haven't ever seen that. As I said I maybe wrong, I looked and couldn't find. I definately don't like people putting badges(mainly factory) on their vehicles that aren't . There was this one tacoma episode and the guys from TFL were really confused why their offroad badged tacoma didn't have a locker, it was obviously a sport with wrong badges. Just saying

 

I could go dig my window sticker out of storage and tell you exactly what the Sr5 option included on my truck, but it is late. Sr5 is not synonymous to a single trim package level. It was an option package on several different trim levels or by itself on a base model. IIRC, it had something to do with a color matched front bumper and fender flares, and chrome/color matched rear bumper instead of the base model black. A Sport or Offroad equipped truck has this option package and ends up with both badging (every sport and OR I have seen have those color matched items and the Sr5 option was automatically bundled into both packages standard if you were to design/build a truck online).

 

Put the damn stickers on whatever you want, just stay away from my truck as I like the no stickers/no badges look. Don't let other people tell you what to do when it comes to cosmetic stuff. Mechanical things are a different story.

 

I think '05-'09 had SR5 badges on OR and Sport models. After that Toyota stopped putting them on. They just had the V6 emblem on the right side of the tailgate.

I have a 14 TRD Sport, and I only had the V6 on the back, no SR5.

 

Sort of. Used a fabric to a rap it and get the shape then used resin to soak it. Put a second coat on and then started to finish it. Just need to pick up some bondo

 

Spidertrax 1 1/4 spacers installed.

 

Getting the diff oil replaced in my rig at the dealership this morning. I planned on doing this myself, even bought all the tools and oil to do it, but I screwed up my back and crawling under my rig is a no go. Luckily the service dept usually does a good job.

 

Wanted a complete Black center console so it would match the seats and carpet . Jumped on the @Cativelense black out parts group buy and purchased and Installed a Black Shifter Bezel.

 

Whats the details on the cupholder storage?

Yank. Unscrew knob first though

 

And be careful not to dragg bezel on the shifter stud threads

 

Thanks! Like Zack said, remove shifter Knob and grab it and slowly pull up. I made sure the back of the bezel came loose first. It takes about 5 minutes.

 

It's a cellcup. They sell them at The stealership! If you can't find one I'll pick one up.
