Exactly why I bought OEM's that were black - I mean I have only washed the truck twice since I bought it last year and once was because the dealership refused to work on it covered in mud.

    Sounds like a health problem...

The problem is that NYC sets the policy for the rest of the state, though.

I'm about an hour, hour and 15 probably. I'll probably have already put something else in by then, but still might be interested in taking a look. What are you doing in York?

Or... actually get real beadlocks as dedicated trail wheels.

    I'm sorry to hear that.

I hear ya on NYC, that's why the rest of the state can't stand that whole region. The good thing is, when you get to the rural areas, they tend to ignore a lot of the bullshit that comes out of NYC. Look what happened with the SAFE act, they had sheriffs publicly refusing to enforce it. The taxes pretty much vary by county and they're really no worse than MA in a lot of areas (and we don't have fucking excise tax... nothing like paying for something, paying tax on it, then having to keep paying tax just to own it)

We're camping up there. Probably be the last trip out for the season.

And not to mention the tax is not pooled and safe guarded for public works projects or road repairs. It is just there to use for whatever in the general fund. I would be less irked by it if i knew that it was going to paving and rehab of old roads, or even used to repair/install utilities within the roadways. Maybe if they taxed vehicles by their weight class, not by value? No way does a 1992 Honda civic that pays $5 in excise tax cause less road damage than a new Mercedes C-class that pays $600 in excise. My wife hates February because we get that little bill in the mail from the Town and I go off on a tirade for a week straight.

Nothing like taxing people more than someone else because their car is valued higher. God forbid we do well in this life.

Be thankful that you don't live in Rhode Island. The people in the state pay "property tax" on their cars that is very high and not just for a couple of years. Just ask Jason @replica9000 He pays every year what I paid my 1st year owning my truck.
It's so bad and corrupt here that the town I work in charges its residents a "Fire Tax". I have never heard of that before

In some ways my parents wish they stayed. Everything was within a block of us..block defined as about 12-14 houses. They had a huge old house there that was beautiful..they don't make em like that anymore

Sorry, not York, we're going to Freeport. We were originally going to camp closer to York, I forgot that I found a new place further upstate. If you're info is correct, and you're in Wales, we'll be fairly close, like 25 miles away.
Hahaha, I go off also, my wife hates seeing that bill for the same reason.

Makes sense. That's usually the last hurrah before the campgrounds shut down for the season. What campground are you guys staying at, so I can drive by and throw eggs?
