Does anyone here run spacers? My friend has 1.5 inch spacers, but I've heard lots of bad things about them. Yet at the same time it seems that there is a high demand for them. I just think it'll look badass with the tires sticking out a little.

Thought about it but my tires stick out enough without them and throw enough debris up on the truck as it is .

I think a lot of guys run them because their wheels back spacing is way to small. If you get a bigger back spacing and a wider wheel you wont have that problem. Pro's and Con's though to both. There's always that one guy that says he read wheels falling off from spacers (If you have them on the right way and check them when you rotate tires then youre fine. Thats called regular maintenance) but its also cheaper than buying new wheels. You cant beat the look though of some SC wheels though :)

This might be a noob question to ask, but are there any meet ups happening soon that I could attend?

So I have decided to start a Meetup for San Antonio Area Tacoma Owners. I plan on making our first Meetup the morning of Saturday October 1st. This initial meetup will not be very big, just an initial meet and greet for members lasting no longer than an hour or so. The exact time and site is yet to be determined, but I will try to make it a somewhat central location. So if you have an hour to spare on that Saturday, drop by and say hello. I will be there for sure. Here is the link for the new group. It's free to join.

    https://www.meetup.com/Alamo-City-Tacoma-Club/

Once you join, message me and introduce yourself. talk to you guys soon.

Lol Facebook. They're honestly kinda weird to me, I left and just stayed put here where I belong.

It becomes a "oh look what came in this box, 5 minutes of fame picture post!"

I agree. This is the best source of Tacoma news and related stuff. I was actually invited to join that group, well both groups. Left both cause they're freaks.

I am not on FB, and I really dont want to join either. I decided to try meetup because it's better for meeting people in person. I use it for other local groups that I am a part of. TW is great. I have met a lot of cool people here from all over the world, but I would like to have something local. Some of us cant take a half a saturday to drive to austin and back. I figured a local meetup would be good. This would be something that doesnt require a big time commitment, and you would still have the rest of your saturday. I encourage the San Antonio Area Tacoma owners to join. If you can make the next meetup great, if not, then we would hope to see you at the next one.
