Haha, what's even worse is I had just finished eating.

 

They designed the bulb too close to the plastic lens in there. Pro tip: Go to GM parts counter and get your DTRL bulbs. They are 14v instead of 12v and don't put off so much heat. I'm guessing they fixed it with the 2012's when they changed the headlight assemblies.

New one's will be getting led switchbacks in them so this can't happen again.

I doubt I'll ever have to worry about the headlight's fogging over. They get replaced constantly. Lmao

It looks like it's just the lens cover. Pretty pricey if that's all it is, but I like the idea of not pulling the 11 year old well sealed non-leaking housing off the truck. I don't know if I trust the seals that come on some of these aftermarket lights.
