Well, was outta town for a few days, put 3200 miles on the taco in a week and found a nice little package left by UPS when I got home.

    Installed these LCA skids today...

Also got some work done on the truck up at Wilson Toyota. While I was waiting I was ogling one of the sexy 4Runners on the lot.

It's kinda hard to see but the "rock sliders" are NFab nerf bars that I previously had on my Taco. Great steps but certainly not sliders and I pity the poor bastard who buys this, takes it on a trail and rips the bars out of the sheet metal of the rocker panel given the false sense of security of having "sliders". All that and a Revtek spacer lift for $4584 over base MSRP.....

Keep an eye on the LCA mounts, I have the same skids and didn't notice until it had worn probably an 1/8" of the mounts and a nice little groove on the skid that there was less than zero clearance at full droop. :censored:

@JimSnell, who ended up with the ones I gave you that you sold to someone else? I cut back the lca forward bolt area and the inner droop spot so they wouldn't bind. Just curious if they are having the same issues, as after the trimming they didn't bind on my M T .
Also, has anyone let Jerry at BAMF know?

Alex, build your own, if the stuff you have already done is any indicator, they will be awesome!

    To the Airflow snorkel crew

Not photos but have you noticed the snorkel swallows large insect whole? Opened my filter yesterday, and it was spotless but for the 5 intact large bugs and 1 live pissed off wasp.
Looking for some stainless steel screen for the scoop.
