The only reason I go (well, went) to Decatur was for Twain's, a badass sports bar. Last time I went, they had a big sign in the door that said 'No Firearms', so they can now go to hell.

Dad's 2012 did it last weekend. 17,000 miles. Belt broke, went in behind the harmonic balancer, and jerked the seal out.

No, and yes, 8 yr 100k mile on motor and tranny. But closest dealer is about an hour away. He had it towed to our mechanic here and had it fixed. Tryin to get Toyota to reimburse him for the seal and labor for the seal but they won't.their excuse is "you don't spend enough money with Toyota for us to do that."

 

Wow. That's awful crappy of Toyota... They could at least said no because it wasn't a factory certified mechanic or service provider. I would keep trying.

 

That was Toyota corporate that told him that. He said "oh, I'm sorry, my $30k truck, my wife's highlander, the '04 I had before this one, the 94 I had before it, my son's 2005 Tacoma...you're right. I don't spend money wth Toyota."

 

That's harsh. Shouldn't matter if you bought 2 Yota or 32. They should stand behind their product, Imo.

Co-worker got one in a construction zone on 75 in Henry Co. He had to go to court.
