    i hear ya' i think they put 4 anchors in my shoulder also along with having to reattach the labrum but couldn't do much with the holes worn in it. i've got 1 disc completely gone in my back so the bones rub on each other, 2 discs as the doc put it beyond ruptured they've actually slid over into the nerve channel in 6 places, and 5 more discs there's only about 1/3rd left of. i'm about 1 1/2" shorter than i used to be and deal with the pain everyday. boss laughs and says he forgets how much pain i'm in everyday because i get so much work done and out work the younger guys. yep getting older ain't for sissies

    well said mike well said! i don't really like talking to people about the issues because i'm neither seeking the attention nor pitty from others but in this thread you guys are a bunch i'm able to commiserate with. you guys get it. i think most all of us lived our young lives doing things that looking back probably weren't the brightest but we "survived" them problem is now we're paying the price. my problem is slowing down work wise. i just don't understand how to do it

    GOOOOOOOOD MORNING 50's!!!!!!!!!!!!! another beautiful day woke to 60's temps threw the windows open and ready to enjoy the day. volunteerd to detail this girls car that works with christie she's a single mother of 2 whose husband died e few years ago from lymes disease. didn't know what i was getting myself into it took me about 9 hrs yesterday to get the interior passable it was one of the dirtiest interiors i've ever seen. now i've got the exterior. gonna try and workout some scratches and polish headlights it's got like 160k on it and she says never been waxed. i guess i should look at things before i volunteer, oh well. i hope you all have a wonderful day and find a little sunshine in it. WAKE UP ANDY

    1. Gout
    2. Type II Diabetes
    3. Asthma - coz I smoked like a MF when I was a kid
    4. Every pollen and weed allergy known to man
    5. High cholesterol/triglycerides
    6. Bad right knee - excruciating pain when there's a storm brewing :)
    7. Bad right shoulder - ruined it when I was a star little league pitcher :) (they didn't have pitch count limits then)
    8. Mentally ill- and then I feel normal when I get on this thread.

    If I didn't do a little exercise here and there, I'd probably be dead or even worse, almost dead.

    the black badges will look outstanding the only thing i'll caution you to as clean as yu keep yor truck it got hard for me to get the dirt out of all the nooks and crannies on the badges and with the back it really shows up. i guess maybe a toothbrush woud have worked i just debadged and said to hell with it

    Just added waterproof 12v and USB sockets to the bed, and the only thing left now is to figure out the Alt wiring. I had a bad alt go up in flames about a year ago and when they spliced in a new harness something was wrong and the battery light has been on ever since. The batteries charge and I have a battery monitor so I know everything works, but that damn light is always on.
