    I don't know if u want to remove both overloads. The bottom overload has the U brackets riveted to them. I do highly recommend removing the upper overload especially if u don't carry much weight.
    Rear brake lines should be at least 3" longer than stock.
    And IMO you going to be ass high with the XL leaf and no extra weight

    I agree. Can't remove the bottom overload.
    XL leaf I might retain. I routinely carry a lot of weight in the bed and in a few weeks I'll have a Bruteforce HC bumper with spare tire swing out and rotopax carrier plus I always over do my camping gear that brings up the weight even more.

    So if brake line needs to be three inches longer than stock I should be ok with 24" because stock is 20"

    Because you don't reuse all of the rivet holes that you drill out to remove the factory hanger with Dakars. You do, however, have to bolt the crossmember back in :thumbsup:

    1. The 24" lines might be too short, I don't know for sure but member OCTaco has 29" that other members are using.

    2. Whatever the specific Dakar packs lift + 1" with flip in foremost position, max 1.5" lift with flip in middle position

    3. The zinc-nickel plating is planned but I still have not broke out of usually welding each kit per after order received.

    4. ArchiveGarage.com is how are handle ordering and lists current lead time, right now 7-14 days ship date after order, and 2-3 days priority insured shipping

    45* setting with Dakars and a good amount of weight in the bed. Just for reference.

    The Ruggedized RTT weighs in at 180 lbs. the wood is 90% cured oak.

    NEED is a strong word...you can certainly do the install without them and then repeatedly forget to buy them and still have nothing holding your cross member to the frame 3 months later....:anonymous:

    How well does this shackle flip work with expo springs? Looking to do my rear setup up with expos, shackle flip and King 2.5s. Already have the expos, and just piecing together the rest of the parts slowly.

    It works very well, check out @ProForce 's and @utroda 's trucks and many others. The rearmost position using 4 factory rivet holes gives about 30 deg shackle angle and the middle position allows 45deg
