I can vouch for this as well. I also have one and I am very happy with the quality, look, and install.

The automatic version hangs slightly lower in the front/top to accommodate the larger radiator (trans fluid cooler) on automatics. This requires extra material ($TAINLE$$) as well as extra labor for the additional bending. Sorry automatic guys... :sorry:

As for how many buyers, there is a list at the end of the original post (page 1) with everyone who's in for the GB. We are up to 4 as of now.

do they fit a slightly lifted tacoma? (2-3 inches) just asking because i seen some other lame brand ones that say only fits tacomas lifted 4-6 inches.

Hopefully this isn't a dumb question, but is the list on the first page updated with names from the other groups that this buy is posted on? Ex: if someone on the 4Runner forums orders one, is his name going to be listed on pg. 1?

Love the skid plates but was wondering if you thought I could bolt this onto my 1999 prerunner v6 3.4 liter automatic? It has a body and suspension lift. I have always wanted to cover up the big gap between the lower tray from the lift kit and the bottom of my truck. I took out my original skid plate that came with the truck when the lift was put on. Hope this picture is helpful. I can take others if needed. Thanks!20160914_235123.jpg

I bought one for my 1st gen a few weeks back and I can vouch for the quality and fit-finish on this skidplate. I cant imagine how much better it would look on a lifted 1st gen then the ugly stocker. I opted for the thinner one and let me say the sucker is super thick. I cant imagine a hit that would damage the metal.

No fuss seller buy in confidence.

Are you sure that's not a drop bracket lift?

Yeah, I'll consolidate the lists. Actually I haven't even posted on T4R (yet).. but assuming there are buyers from outside TW, they WILL be included in the count and added to the list.

Man, I'm sorry, but I'm really not sure. If the stock skid didn't fit, mine probably won't either... I'd love to sell you one, but I'd hate for you to be dissapointed if it didn't work out.

Ethan, living in western NY I think I will go without the TRD cutout on mine. I am guessing it would catch a lot of road salt and slush. The cutouts do look good though.
