Negative. Single sided pitch. The fixture wasn't hung yet. I'm guessing that Mr electrician (while hanging said unit and running romex) ran a screw through the roof. I framed the roof in 2x4 like a 'tard because it was supposed to be a shed....and the project slowly turned into a finished studio. Regretting the 2x4 and not using 2x6. Whatever....it is what it is

When we bought our house there was a add on to the side of the garage that had to be torn down because roof leaks had started rotting out in multiple places. When we were tearing it down we found multiple building code violations. When people do things like this is one of the reasons I had to get a building permit (and follow up inspection) to do an improvement to a existing shed.

Exactly what I'm afraid of. My contract was for a large storage shed. Suddenly she's adding windows, and a/c unit, moulding and such. Tried to tell her multiple times that if the neighbors or city catches wind of this she's getting cited and shut down. The check cleared so I'm trying my best to high tail it out of there while making the best of the situation.

It's has insulation ......obviously been removed since the leak....and no eve vents.....once again.....shed.... she turned it into a studio well after the walls and roof were up. Was originally a one door (barn style) and 2 window unit. I cut in all the additional windows after. Door was also removed and replaced with a mineral core door.

Just to reiterate. This was a shed. As it was built she added and changes the design. As it escalated to a studio, we tried to hustle and get out of there beforeally the city got involved (she ignored my warnings about city violations and permits being pulled). I'm just trying to finish this job and get out with my hide intact

First thing I thought about when I saw the front of your barn was "wonder if he's going to paint it like a Piet Mondrian?" That led me to the Partridge family bus... Anyway, nice looking barn. More space is always better!

What is the best product to seal around windows where there is a gap between brick and window now?

    Just silicone?

    Thanks in advance!

Thanks you kindly. Wisconsin winters do some damage to homes. Moved in last year without proper Temps to do any work like this...
