Darn naggit... I thought I might have the only bridge related picture this week... but it started raining. I have a couple others but I picked this because it caught my eye.

    Official entry...

Not my entry but second choice. Felt pretty colorless so I just went with no color this week.

Messing with the Pro mode on my phone. Hope to enter more of these challenges and learn the limited options I have access to.

Taken Wednesday night just outside of Telluride.

Is this a composite shot, or did you only toy around with the shadow and highlight levels? or am I missing some OCF that I don't see?, lol. I love how well the taco stands out with such little bokeh.

I really like your second one, all the lines with the bridge structure just keeps me looking at it.

It is not a composite. I shot it during the pretty low light of dawn and the minimal backlight helps the truck pop a bit. I have my standard photoshop techniques that I do to most of my photos as well.

How do I get a larger picture on here? Seems every time I post a pic, regardless of pixels, it's the same size when posted.

    Nature, untouched.

    Fall River bottom.jpg

I leaned out over the front of a small boat to take this picture. It is the river bottom of Fall River. Camera is about three feet off the water. Water is about 4 feet down to the weed bed. Big trout hide out in these weed beds.

Use a photo hosting site is the best way I can think of, I recommend Flickr.

X2 The original rules call for the maximum edge of the longest side to be 1200. This website will reduce any pictures to 800 max. on the long side however. If you link from a website like Flickr and put it in here it will still be 800 max. But when you click on the picture it will allow you to see it at the size you selected to begin with if you use Flickr.

You all aren't making this easy on me are you?! Well done by every single person, and glad to see a decent turnout this week. Well not really- like I said it does make it hard when they all are so good! Still time left if it is not midnight where your at... Lot of good isolation using bokeh, lighting including the golden hour and the darkness of night, and great subject material. The talent pool runs deep on here.

It was a very hard choice for me but whill I liked the lines and bridge. I thought the water droplet showed more artistic promise. I had a couple shots of the bridge. My original idea tanked due to the weather. Brought my boat and everything for the sunrise shot reflecting through the middle opening of the bridge. I have seen it before and it's postcard worthy.

Might mention I don't touch my photos. No photoshop or after shot adjustments.

Hard decision to make and I am not good at critiquing pictures of others. Honestly don't think there is anything negative to say about any of them. But have to pick just one so... That would be Aaron (tex). It has architure, contrast, lighting, isolation plus I'm a sucker for sun\star burst lights. Well done and congratulations! And well done by everyone.
