No, they are not included. Wheeler's Offroad has them for $15 I believe. They are one piece, stock design. If they were two pieces, there would be two failure points, so I believe the one piece design is safe. They weren't meant to be removed, even though it is a giant pita. I'd suggest cutting them and reinserting backwards, using red loctite on the threads.

I just got done installing kings with total chaos upper control arms. Just wanted to agree that the UCA through bolt is by far the hardest part of the install. With a lot of bending I was able to get the driver side bolt out. The passenger side was actually harder to my surprise. No amount of bending was going to allow the bolt to clear, there was a good 1/8" of interference for whatever reason. I ended up grinding the flange portion of the bolt head flat to the hex. Also in each case it was easier to get the thru bolt back in the new uca's than I thought it would be.

I would not want to see a two piece bolt setup for the uca. No thanks

Just installed my stage4, not so bad if your 37 and not 57 but quite easy minus the UCA bolts.will post measurements. And better pic later but I did quit well on overall lift...

1,000 mile report on an Icon Stage 3 setup. I have a 2016 TRD Off Road with 23,000 miles on it. Have owned the truck since new, no heavy 4WD use. I installed a Stage 3 setup with Total Chaos UCA's.

I HAVE A BAD VIBRATION THAT MAY BE GETTING WORSE!!!

This vibration can lightly be felt through the steering wheel, lower seat back, and gas pedal. It is not a 1:1 rotational vibration, but a "womp womp womp" at the rate of about 3-5 tire revolutions. It is noticeable from 35-55 MPH. I have the coils set at the factory positions as received. I have FN FX Pro wheels with 275/70R17 BFG's on them. Tires were installed same day as the lift. I did all the work. I was in the shop when the alignment was performed and had +3 castor, ~0 camber, and toe was equal to both sides.

I installed the carrier bearing drop with no +/- results. I then installed the diff drop with no +/- results.

I THINK THIS IS THE KEY: The vibration completely goes away when I shift into 4HI.

I called Icon Tech and they didn't have any reference to others having this same problem.

As the truck sits now, it has the lean. Center cap to fender measurements are: Driver's: 23" Pass: 24"

I want to love this setup, but I can't live with this vibration. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

I will be reinstalling the stock wheels just in case the new tires are resonating the CV axles but I am not sure that would help.

EDIT: SHOULD HAVE TRIED THE GOOGLE
    I found this:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...tial-bearing-vibration-thread.152173/page-185
    Which led me to this:
    http://eastcoastgearsupply.com/i-85...bushing-eliminates-needle-bearing.html#videos

Anyone know if the 2016 TRD Off Road has an 8" front diff? I know the rear end is different from the second gen, but not sure about the front. I will update when I figure this out. Toyota must be selling 3rd gen owners the same junk diff as the 2nd gen owners. I want to love this truck, but this is making me miss my Nissan.

    Update to my situation.

ECGS claims 3rd gen diff is same as 2nd gen diff so their bushing should work.

I put on the stock wheels, no change to the vibration.

I cranked the driver's side up quite a bit to get to within 1/2" of the passenger side height, no change to the vibration.

I had absolutely no vibrations with my stock setup and I don't remember them prior to the alignment but that was the first 15 miles I drove on the Icon lift.

Could the alignment have anything to do with this? Seems weird to me since there are ZERO people running Icon setups complaining about vibrations other than myself.

I suspect it's either due to your carrier drop, or diff drop.

I don't have either, and don't have any vibrations. My alignment is very similar to yours (castor at 3.5, everything else the same).

I'd remove both the carrier & diff drop, and test then.

I had the vibration without either drop. Added the carrier bearing drop, still there. Added diff drop, still there. From further reading, this is related to a design flaw in the diff which utilizes a needle bearing on the driver's side and a roller ball bearing on the passenger side. Many have reported this issue with stock suspension. The lift magnifies the vibration.

UPDATE: I have ordered the bushing and hope to install it tomorrow (if it arrives). 100 miles after raising the driver's side, the vibration is more constant and louder (greater amplitude). I will report my results after bushing install. If I never update, assume the bushing did not work and I traded in the truck!! Sure hope that will not be the case!!

I just want to stay on top of this to help any 3rd gen owners that have this situation. It sucks!

UPDATE: The bushing is installed and THE VIBRATION COMPLETELY WENT AWAY!!!

I feel like I have a new truck again. The bushing install went smoothly (~4hrs, never done CV's before).

sorry for the thread hijack (it was dying anyway), I just figured that this was the best place to ask about 3rd gens with the Icon lift.

In case you need to do this, THE AXLE NUT IS 35MM, same as the 2nd gen.

Thank you so much, EAST COAST GEAR SUPPLY!!!!

Here is the only picture I took..

    Stock....ish
Its possible with enough bending and a hammer. Was able to push mine through as well as my other buddies 3rd gen on the passenger side. Pain in the ass but his truck took us no more than 10 minutes to get that UCA bolt out since we already knew what to do. If you take the grill off it gives room for an extension and a hammer.

Harder, cause you'll be drinking crappier alcohol during the process.

    My foot.

+1 on T9. I use it for a variety of things, not the least important of which are some of the components on my $6k mountain bike. (Not flaunting price to be a douche, Just to reiterate how much I trust T9.)
