Hey Andy, as requested, I turned 50 in April, and like many of you this is the best time of my life. Definitely don't have any regrets, we all gain wisdom as we age. I have 2 grown boys 24 & 21. A second wife of 15 years (20 together), who also celebrated her 50th just in July. She loves going out 4 wheel' and exploring as well. I've been in law enforcement for the past 10+ years. And prior to this, we both drove long haul together for over a decade (99% US). This is my first Taco and I love it!! I have found out so much information from all of you guys. Like most, the mods don't seem to end. Good to be here. Thanks guys and gals!

welcome aboard i'm rt behind you i'll be 50 in december. it's a great website and you can glean tons of good info from the different threads although sometimes you may have to wade through some bs to get to it. this thread ,however, is hands down the best on the site. we may not do alot of talking about trucks on here but the people are great, supportive, and genuine

If I "hang-out" for a little longer the better half will have "no choice" BUT to let me purchase another truck :devil::devil:

Dealership is slow, watching paint-dry slow :boink: BUT my checks still ca$h nicely

They CAN make medical exceptions.depending on dosages, distance driving and a whole lot of B.S. shorter med card times;months instead of years and constant DR up dates:(

Sadly, that is why I stick to my regiment of "Legal drugs" and diet.....that D-word literally scares the hell out of me....

Hey Casper, chin up :muscleflexing: at least you don't own a Blue Tacoma :boink::rofl::rofl::rofl:

When ours is slow my check cashes like wringing out a dry wash cloth. No work, no pay. Really sucks when there is a blizzard and you have to be there and you stand around all day for free. Kinda like working on some shit box for free but you don't get your hands dirty.

    Very nice intro.
This is a family. Like any family there are a few odd ball ones. You kinda learn to live with it. Lots of P.M. Messages go back and forth.
We watch out for each other, help each other.

Dam I can't sleep so here I am. My only free day and I'm sitting pounding keys at 4am.
I got a refinancing letter with 5 years to go... Ahhhhhhh no.
Its funny when your shop sends you trade in incentives or lease deals. Or they see a nice older vehicle and they come out and scope it out and make a trade in assessment. Hey dude this is MY TRUCK. Get back out front.

Good morning all and have a great day.

That is the right way to do it IMO Jim. I didn't relocate the horns just painted everything flat black. There are times when the sun hits it just right wish I would have relocated them.

Leave 2 weeks from today for the North Shore grouse hunting with the dog for a week, time to start moving from a list to actually packing and doing things. Got my hunting license yesterday and picked up some purple (16 ga.) shotgun shells. Completed refinishing the stock on my 1949 grouse gun and changed out the square head flathead stock bolt with a standard 1/4 x 20 hex head like I always do. Well turns out Ithaca 37's below serial number 300,000 had different threads, and guess I have the heavy hand of a pit snipe yet. First couple of threads are now 1/4 x 20 then felt the resistance and stopped. Picked up a tap yesterday and once I have another cup of coffee time to run the tap. Going to put in the tech deck extreme today so I can use Ram Mounts to mount my electronics so need to remove the HU.
