It would pay for someone in the US to come up here, get someone to buy it then sell it to you, you think..? we are talking 30% exchange.

No I don't think so. Wouldn't benefit anyone either way right now I don't think. If the CDN$ falls more in the next year then it might benefit Americans but it would have to be like $0.66 US for $1 CDN which is a big difference. Other reason i'm doing pro now is because Truck prices have been increasing a lot the last 5 years.

This is a much more reasonable estimate of the Pro's additional equipment value IMO. Don't know where a full interior worth of leather can be had for $800. I priced it out myself and decided my MT Pro (+10k CAD) was about 1-2k more expensive than the aftermarket costs, not taking installation and warranty value into account.

Same. Only "better" deal I figured was the Limited + add-ons but really it's about the same but you are trading some features for others like chrome and moonroof which I don't need.

I went ahead an put down a deposit on a TRD Pro. White, with the floor liners, all the bed organizational goodies, aluminum, door sills, all the goodies. It's $45,200 or so. No markup, MSRP. I guess it's getting built on 10/6/16 and I will get it around the end of October. I'll definitely post up pictures.

I was just on Toyota.ca and you are correct. That's an automatic with freight included. You still have to add taxes so it'll be well over 60k. I don't think I could pull the trigger on that. Nice to see a double cab TRD off road available up here now though. Btw that's about 15k more than my TRD off road.

Where did you see that? On the toyota.ca configurator I only see the OR option available on the access cab. Am I missing something?

Select 2017 4x4 in the build and price configurator. Click on double cab 4x4 v6 6A SB and the Pro will be in the bottom of the drop down window. Its also in the v6 6M SB drop down window.

Oh sorry, though you were saying the off-road (not the pro) package was available on the double cab. It'd be nice to have the crawl control etc. but I need the double cab. Not sure I want to spend the extra for the pro package.

Is the pro really that different from an OR? I don't know any of the specifics. No, I'm not trading in the angry taco... Just curious as to the hype.

wen i went to look at the pro i bought it was on the showroom floor, so they let me drive an offroad for test drive, wasnt convinced to trade in my 15 pro, so when i walked away , they let got it off the showroom floor and let my test drive,, then i was convinced, bought it on the spot....

Oh I see. I don't need the larger cab so the access cab is fine for my use but I would have considered the double cab if it was available then.
