I did some work on this while deployed, and I must say, of all the airframes I worked on, you Dragonlady guys were by far the nicest. :oldglory:

Thanks Luka. Our planes always get a lot of attention. This was my favorite aircraft to work. I joined the AF to work the A-10, but when I had to choose between the A-10 and the U-2, I wanted to work on something few have. Turned out to be the best assignment.

You got a ride in the mobile? Very cool! When I got out they were using the Camaros. I hear now they have BMWs as mobiles. I liked driving the chase truck. It was awesome being out on the runway with the plane.

    the Pilots drive em.

I cross-trained from engines to metals tech...so I went from aircraft specific to "any" air-frame...its a double-edged sword, but so far the benefits have out-weighed downsides.

Well of course they do.... Screw aircrew... I only hate em cuz I aint em... :(
EDIT: Well That's good to hear, MXS is an easier gig as well for the most part. That's a benefit of hydro as well. It's nice being able to work on anything, but still easy to get trapped in a black hole..

Borderline... we don't accept you on the flight line, but we'll allow it here.

Just make sure you get my 3 trucks out to me in a timely manner. Thanks.
