Cost me about $365 before tax to have it installed. The ride quality has been the biggest difference. Holy shit the ride quality is so much better, no more back shattering bumps. And no I used my stock ucas for now. The angle on them really doesn't look far off from factory on my truck. If I was going to be doing serious wheeling where I'm tucking my fronts on a regular basis I would get new ucas but I won't be doing that.

So in total you were around 1.2k for everything? That's not bad.

    I'm looking at this kit.

I'm 49 and bought my 02 doublecab, prerunner, sr5 2.7 brand new in late 2001.
    Idc what anyone says....

Whether its a 4x4, prerunner, whatever engine combo....to me, these are the best looking body style ever made.

The lines, styling, even the way a hardshell fits so exact, transforms the truck and makes it so different.

Hope to purchase my softopper for it this week while i'm waiting to see if i'm going to keep my hard shell.

Lol. Im just proud of it. 1st brand new vehicle I ever bought. Lasted me 15 years and still performs all I ask of it.

But its getting some rest time as I bought another new vehicle. This time ordered one and had it built and delivered. I hope this scat pack challenger lasts as long as my truck does.

while i will never put down buying brand new i just don't have money for new when i'm just going to cut it up and make it what i want anyways. Mine had 162,000 miles on it when i bought it and it's at 236,000 miles now and still kicking ass. Just won first place at the Idaho state fair tractor pulls in Heavy class (that's competing against Big block V8's)

Still needs a few more coats and the SR5 emblem to be dipped but I'm liking it.

yeah i strapped a third gen supper charger to it right after it rolled over 200,000 miles and built the trans a year later. i thought i had a slipping transmission but turns out it was just the rim spinning in side the tire.

I pulled last year and got a lot of that attitude. Everyone there thought i had a V8 swapped in there and kept telling me how i had too much tire. The fuck does that even mean :confused:. Anyways after i pulled and took third place they where like wait that doesn't have a V8 and started praising me for doing so well with such a small motor and big tire. This year i just dropped the air pressure even more and changed my transfercase gear ratio around. I was very happy with it seeing how as that sled weighs 30,000 pounds and by the end of the run it starts digging into the ground.
