Good call! I appreciate the input as always. I need to figure out a way to get an aux fuse panel into this truck for power, too. If I decide to not use the roll bar, I'll eventually be adding a roof LED bar and probably ditch lights (since I've got a set) and reinstall my CB, so I need power points anyways.

I still like the roll bar but I reckon you may be losing critical bed space being that you're a short bed..

It sits up on the rails, doesn't impact the bed space. Cosmetically I don't think I like it honestly, and I'll have to remove the front rail for the tonneau cover. I'm still unsure what I ultimately want to do though.

Good question, I guess it depends if you want to keep the tonneau cover like that. Never had one in either of my trucks.

Not a fan of roof mounted lights/ led bars personally. Something about them just looks tacky to me; plus you get a ton of reflection off the hood that doesn't do any good for your eyes trying to make things out at night.

Just placed an order for the Califab amber 3x2 pods to put in my lower grill for crappy weather use. Should come in handy this winter i'm thinking with all the damn seat time I put in going back and forth to Maine.

I didn't think I'd like the tonneau when I first got it, but I've grown to like it. I've had it off for a few days now and find myself missing it. It comes in handy in the winter though. It's the reason I had the cap on my old one.

Mine were up high enough that I didn't see anything on the hood from them. My friend's Xterra has the OEM lights and you see the illumination on the hood. I liked the retro look that I had but it doesn't seem to work as well on the new one.

I love having covered bed storage. I'm actually seriously considering ditching the cap and going with a tonneau that can handle things being loaded on top of it. I have the camper for most things, but now I'm finding I have to move more large, outdoor things like bikes. Probably a pipe dream and I'll keep the cap but you never know...

Had a boot malfunction as well. Had to trek the mile hike on a rocky road bare foot. The bottom of my feet are very tenderized...

Nothing. Guys I went with each caught little schoolies... Not like a few weeks ago where we collectively caught 15+ fish.

    But that's fishing!

Last time the biggest I caught was around 15lbs, but my friend Chris caught one that was over 20lbs. No derby winners, but decent size!

I was contemplating getting new gear this year for the derby; gave my g-loomis rod to a friend cause I wasn't using it often enough... with how much work is coming up in a couple weeks, I don't think I'm buying the pin this year :smack: plus I wanna buy guns sometime in the future and those will take some
