    I have the Blue Sea ML ACR set up I'm on a trip now. After driving 3 hours or more how long for the unit to unlatch? Both batteries show around 13Volts

    Theyll unlatch when voltage drops below 12.65V. It depends a lot on the capacity of your batteries and the draw you have from accessories. If I'm not using any power, mine stays latched for days.

    You spent $200 on a smart solenoid. Just set it on auto and fahgetaboutit

    They'll both power the fridge until 12.65v and then will isolate. At that point your fridge will be only running off of the battery it's connected to and you will have plenty of juice to start the truck with the other battery.

    In the past I've used channel locks to squeeze on the center line or if the fit is tight enough you could just solder it and not crimp at all.

    ive done the soldering method before I had access to a hydraulic crimper, heat up the lug (inverted) with a torch then pool up a bunch of solder inside the lug, then cannonball that b**** in there lol

    I agree. I just wanted to make sure the crimps were done right, and when I replaced the battery terminal ends with rings I could do it right in the truck. Saved me a lot of trouble. I'm sure I'll use the tool again.

    Got my Deka AGM battery here and they cut and crimp cable to length.
