What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

My dad helped me pop in the new grille as soon as I drove my 2017 home from the lot. Shout out to customcargrills for this awesome grille! It was a super easy install and am glad it was my first mod. Now for the lift and wheels/tires...

 

Mounted my Uniden Bear 880 and mic, PA speaker and shovel and ax mounts in the bed.

 

New ditch light with oem buttom.

Just drove through a dealership they had a double cab inferno Offroad JBL package. Had an automatic rear sliding window which was not listed on the options sheet so it must just come with the truck I guess! No extra charge! Those of us with 16's got ripped off on that feature!!

Peeled my new/old tint off as well. Does anyone know how the tint is set up? Seems like actual tint on the from two windows and no tint, but privacy glass on the back driver and passenger side as well as the very back. Hence nothing would peel off the back...

 

Do you have a write up on how you did your axe and shovel mounts? Looks great!

 

All trims above SR5 it is standard now

 

I'd be happy to take the sr grill and trim off your hands.

 

Would have been nice if they could have done that with the rollout of the new 3rd gen last year! Oh well, what's another nine hundred and fifty bucks!

 

Installed a ram mount for the phone. It required some slight modification to a bracket behind the trim piece. Makes it easier to us the phone with a few off road navigation apps that I use.

You make those brackets or buy them some place?

 

If you get a note from your DOC you can tint your whole car.... windscreen and front windows. Super simple. They will give you a Rx for tint if you have migraines or risk of cancer or are light sensitive

 

They have adhesive tape on the back. I just stuck them to the inside of the light housing(only made contact on the corners but still secure)
I used the 2835-36SMD board. For the dome light I will be using 2ea 5050-48 SMD.
Ya,, it's pretty bright..
