Also like we all said before, if your mileage went way down after you put in new plugs, then you should check the plugs or have a shop do it.

I've taken all this info into account. I usually try to keep it under 70 mph, also there was no change whatsover after the plugs were changed.
It's been this bad for a couple years

Covered in stickers and chrome stick-ons for extra horse torques and foot powers. Icon sticker gets me tons of travel, dozens of milimeters.
I'm pretty sure www.nomorewhitefenders.com used to be a site.

Thanks man. I actually called that place today hoping they'd be open but apparently every mechanic around closes up shop on Sundays. I'll try to catch him tomorrow after work, have to get this done before next weekend

Thanks for the videos! Yeah you hear the dead giveaway 'thudclunk' sound that a tire makes when it hits a rock too hard...not quite as painful as hearing your stock skid or rear diff hit a rock but pretty close, lol.

I'm looking hard at the end of the first video trying to see if my exhaust was detached from the hinge there or not but it's hard to tell.

Good to hear. I've drove onto a rock while trying to turn around in a canyon up in Calico and dented the stock skid plate. These should be better, even with an inch of clearance lost

Does those skids make oil changes pretty rough to do? That is a good chunk of armor.

Are there skids that are dimple died or have small holes? Maybe a bad idea. I know nothing about skids.

It's only 4 screws on the RCI front skid. We'll see. I had my last Toyota Care oil change last week so we'll see what happens when I do one myself. The RCI's now come with a hatch for the oil filter. 3rd gen has bottom oil filter
That's why I went with steel. I don't care about the weight. It's only 80 pounds total, I think.

Good ones will have holes for service. If you're worried beyond oil changes you're probably mall-crawlin. Transfer/tranny case oil is done far enough apart to not worry about the excuse to drop the skid to view the undercarriage.

My t-case skid has a drain opening, looking at the full set of Skidrow skids (later down the line), they all have the same thing.

Been debating between aluminum vs. steel myself, as much as I want to keep my mpg's relatively the same, I hit my current skids too often to go with anything other than steel I think.

I thought they were about 150lbs for a whole set. I was like why doesn't someone make a dimple die skid even though you can't dimple 3/16". 80 is mellow for a trail rig.
